From owning a small, quiet farm to producing healthy, tasty eggs, this is our story.

Here's how my 12 year old son imagines what went through my head in the beginning of my endeavor. His imagination is spot on.

"Childhood memories of owning chickens made it easy to buy chickens and raise them on a farm. At first, it was just about having a good breakfast. But then it was something more. It was relaxing to go down to the barn, walk around in the woods, and enjoy the lake. From an entrepreneurship streak during the construction boom to corporate to organic farming is not a long road. I wondered, what can I do with all that I have? BAM. It came to me! It was all about the chickens! I shared the idea with friends and family. They said it sounded risky and undoable. But it didn't matter to me. So I did it. I bought 100 chicks and waited. Then I bought 200 more and waited. The rest of it is history. I would sneak my business into small talk. People really seemed to like the idea. Some of my close friends started to buy eggs. Then word got out. Now complete strangers started falling in love with these fresh eggs from pasture raised hens. This is not a big business, and it will be so for a very long time. Because GMO grains, medication, and huge chicken houses is exactly what's wrong with the eggs industry."
